As Graham Rahal built his cutting-edge automotive campus, he wanted a restaurant that matched his high standards of quality and precision. He saw a need for a world-class steakhouse in Zionsville, and his father, IndyCar legend Bobby Rahal, knew just the place—Bowdie’s Chophouse.

Bobby, a longtime fan of Bowdie’s in Saugatuck, introduced Graham to founder Scott Bowdish. Their shared commitment to craftsmanship and top-tier experiences made the collaboration perfect. And with the Rahal Letterman Lanigan (RLL) Racing headquarters right across the street from Graham’s new campus, it became even more evident that Zionsville needed a high-end steakhouse. 

Now, that vision is becoming a reality as Bowdie’s Chophouse Zionsville prepares to open its doors.

Working closely with Graham Rahal’s general contractor, Audie Tarpley and the DCG Construction team, we ensured every detail met the same high standards of craftsmanship seen throughout the Graham Rahal campus. Their expertise has also helped us stay on track for our early May opening without sacrificing quality.

Led by Kristine Kay Interiors, the design process was meticulously crafted to bring racing heritage into the space while maintaining the rustic elegance of our other Bowdie’s locations

Kristine and her team—who also designed our Hilton Head and Grand Rapids locations and redesigned our Saugatuck and Lansing spaces—carefully selected industrial accents, rich woods, leather seating, and vintage lighting to create a warm yet dynamic atmosphere that reflects our shared vision.
