Our server was absolutely a rockstar! She welcomed us with friendly conversation, gave helpful information about the menu, and was accommodating for our gluten-free food allergy. We got her insight on wine, Indy racing history, and the Bowdie’s chain.

The Atmosphere

Bowdie’s Chophouse blends the timeless elegance of a classic steakhouse with a bold motorsport-inspired edge. Guests will notice details like checkered black-and-white tile, rich woods, leather seating, and a glass wall overlooking the Graham Rahal Performance car collection and WheelHouse Social Club member vehicles.

The Menu: From the First Bite to Main Events

Appetizers That Set the Stage

Start the evening with something exceptional. Favorites include seared scallops, prime tartare, bone marrow, and delicate crab cakes. Classic starters like burrata, escargot, and the seafood tower offer timeless flavors that set the tone for the meal ahead.

The bone marrow was hands-down my favorite—rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared.

Steaks & Entrées

At Bowdie’s, steak is what we do best. Every cut is hand-selected, expertly seasoned, and cooked to perfection—from tender filets to richly marbled ribeyes. Want to try something different? The menu also features standout entrées like roasted half chicken, fresh salmon, and satisfying soups and salads.

I had the tomahawk steak, and it was flawless—perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and unapologetically bold. I was brought here as part of a gathering with individuals from Chicago, seasoned diners who don’t offer praise lightly. Without hesitation, they said it was the best steak they’d ever had in Indiana.

Sides Worth Sharing

No steakhouse experience is complete without indulgent sides. Bowdie’s offers favorites like lobster mac & cheese, au gratin potatoes, truffle fries, and sautéed mushrooms—rich, flavorful dishes designed to be shared around the table.

My husband couldn’t stop raving about the potatoes au gratin—creamy, cheesy, and comforting.

Drinks: The Perfect Pairing

The drink menu at Bowdie’s delivers the same level of craft and attention as the kitchen. Guests can enjoy everything from bold bourbon cocktails to refreshing citrusy pours.

The cocktails were top-notch. The Old Fashioned came with a branded ice cube—great presentation and even better flavor.”

The wine list is equally impressive, featuring thoughtfully selected bottles from around the world. Whether you’re pairing a rich steak with a bold red or enjoying seafood with a crisp white, there’s a perfect pour waiting for you.

A Sweet Finish

Dessert is the perfect way to end the evening. Favorites include carrot cake layered with cream cheese frosting, a rich peanut butter brownie, and warm beignets served with multiple sweet sauces. At Bowdie’s, dessert isn’t an afterthought—it’s the final note of your experience.

The beignets were devilishly delicious! Flakey, fresh, and served with three sauce options (chocolate, caramel, and a berry jam)….We dined with an experienced foodie who knew all of the Zionsville restaurants, and she said this chef prepared some of the best beignets she’d ever had.

A Brunch That Sets the Bar

Bowdie’s Chophouse also offers an elevated weekend brunch, served every Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Standout dishes include caviar tacos, crab cake Benedict, truffle mushroom frittata, the American Wagyu burger, Bowdie’s Prime Smash, and the lobster roll.

“Bowdie’s Chophouse in Zionsville has truly set the bar for weekend brunch in the area….The brunch menu was innovative and exciting. I started with the caviar tacos, which were divine – truly a unique and flavorful treat. For my entrée, the crab cake Benedict was also amazing…Bowdie’s Chophouse Zionsville’s brunch is definitely worth visiting for a unique, luxurious, and delicious experience. I can’t wait to go back!”
